Green Customs Workshop, Train-the-trainers, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, 24 - 27 November 2009

The Regional Green Customs Workshop for Caribbean countries was held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic on 24 - 26 November 2009 at the Regional Training Centre of the World Customs Organization in the Dominican Republic. The workshop followed a train the trainer approach with the aim of developing the capacity of senior national trainers from representative countries and regional institutes to provide national level trainings and awareness-raising of the Green Customs Initiative and agree on draft national Green Customs Training approaches and modules to be developed for national training with an emphasis in the cooperation between national agencies within the country.
